SOULTRADR

Soultradr was a project conceived by myself and my close friend, creative director Angelica Rowe, during the 2020/2021 Melbourne lockdowns. Fueled by our passion for imagery, art, and design, we set out to document sole traders who were navigating this unprecedented period. Between lockdowns, we visited artists in their studios, capturing both their work and their stories. We delved into their creative processes, learning how they adapted and persevered despite the challenges.

Documenting these artists was a deeply inspiring and humbling experience. Each one was unique—hands-on, resilient, and loved their craft. Since then, much has changed for some of these artists—new studios, new ventures, expansion, and growing families. It was truly an honour to capture them during this time.
